I will write for myself, to alleviate the apprehension in the depth of my soul.

Rule #18: Time makes fools of us all.

Chilling with my homies @ Sahara Bar. One of my favourite places where I love to unwind myself. What’s more better than shisha-ing by the side of the Singapore River with the magnificent view of MBS and other tall buildings after a looooong day in school just staring at the laptop screen? It was an impromptu meet up but I did a lot of catching up with them boys and reminiscing the past. Do you guys remember how Alastair was like before we actually went out? God, don’t even get me started! :P

If you are my twitter follower, you might know how often I go shisha. (also known as Hookah) Actually, I started doing it with my friends when I was only 14 but I didn’t like it at all. It was a bad experience for me because I am not a smoker (I’ve never taken a single puff of cigarette in my whole life till now!) but eventually, I get used to it. My addiction to shisha started when my boyfriend brought me to Nabin’s somewhere early last year. It’s a two-storey building by itself which is located near Haji Lane. It was about 1am when we came and the minute I walked in, I was so attracted by its interior design. It was traditionally cosy with the majestic-looking dining place and the service was good. Me and my boyfriend usually try new flavours every two or three weeks. Not only @ nabins, we’ve also been to quite a number of shisha lounge/cafĂ© around town. The most unique flavour we have tried was Redbull!

Let’s be realistic. Inhaling hookah is more harmful than smoking. Definitely I don’t encourage those who does not shisha. But it’s a really good way to just hang out with your friends or anyone whom you can talk a lot to, rather than wandering around town and loitering under the void decks. Shisha itself is cheap. Just take my advice; eat a proper dinner somewhere else because their main course are quite expensive. Some of my friends asked me how I could shisha when I am not legal yet. Honestly, I don’t exactly know how, but probably it has to do with what you wear, who you’re with and how you speak. If you get what i mean;)

Rule No.7: Be careful who you open up to. Only a few people actually care, the rest are just curious.

hi!

I was so fatigued last Friday. It was 1300hrs when I woke up and yet I didn’t want to get up of bed. My legs were pretty sore and I was emotionally exhausted with my whole relationship issues. I just laid in bed staring at the ceiling while my brain worked out all the justifications not to get up, though it was imperative that I cleaned up the house very quickly since my friends were coming over. I knew time wouldn’t wait so i just had to convince myself that everything would be fine. And smile, cause it helps you get your way.

Even though it was the first time meeting each other for some of my friends who came for the jalan raya on that day, we all just clicked, the conversation flowed and there was zero level of awkwardness. I was actually expecting more people to attend but I was satisfied that the people whom I missed the most came! Long story short, I was so drawn to Natra’s house. It was all vintage ceramics and exquisite furnishings! The floral utensils that were neatly arranged in a shelf they all looked so antique with the laminated wood flooring. Frankly speaking, it’s not really my cup of tea (I prefer modern contemporary interior designs; furniture, accessories and fabrics sporting neutral tone-on-tone color scheme with smooth and sleek surfaces like granite flooring, etc.) but I found them soooo damn attractive and cosy that I didn’t wanna leave! I really think I gained two pounds or something, cause there were so much food that some parents cooked for us (including my mom!) Ah, I couldn’t resist all those tempting dishes which have so much calories in them. At midnight, we played wii F1 Racing & Cooking Mama at Yuslina’s aunt’s place (I raya her house every year! I think this is the 4th year.) and she served us waffles with ice cream! *drools

By the way…. I’m currently looking for a part-time job so if anyone has any recommendations or whatsoever, don’t hesitate to contact me @ 82232442. Unrelated text messages/calls will not be entertained at all.
