Sophistication: Rule #14: If you want something, don’t wish for it. Life is too short to wait.

Last April, one of my girlfriends recommended me to her relative who needed somebody to model for her portfolio. So i thought, hey that would be a good opportunity for me. She saw my facebook and gave me a call asking to come over her house because she decided to do a Summer shoot. Just a small one of course. I addressed the photographer/make-up artist as Kak Suzy even though she’s already married with a child. She's a very lovely woman, really! It was so interesting because I was literally bronze! She did a sun tan look on me which i have never done it before. That was like three layers of makeup, okay. The weather was scorching hot, my tears were so teary when she was taking my shots The focus was more on the make-up instead of the outfit so that basically explains why my photos are mostly portraits. Ah, it was a good experience, she taught me a lot too! ;)

I know I’m not a professional, but hey, I’m learning! ;) You gotta be courageous to do things that you love even if you fall. You'll never know how far you can go. In the future to come, I hope i will be given the opportunity to model for an editorial fashion shoot! It will definitely be a dream come true.
